Privacy notice for parents and guardians
Document version bobbyzumi-2026-10-16. This has not yet been checked by a qualified UK legal or privacy adviser and may change. No legal certification is claimed.
Who we are
BobbyZumi is a private learning club for children in Year 3 and Year 4. Only parents and guardians have accounts.
What we keep
- Your email address and sign-in details, so you can sign in and reset your password.
- Your family name and a grown-up PIN, stored only as a one-way scrambled code.
- For each child: a nickname, a preset picture and a year group. We never ask for a full name, date of birth, school, location, photos or contact details.
- Quests finished, learning goals reached, badges, saved maze projects and weekly summaries.
- Your acknowledgement of these documents, and a log of safety actions in your family.
Why
To run the learning club, save progress, show it to you and keep family areas protected. We do not show adverts, sell data, use third-party tracking or build marketing profiles.
Who can see it
Only signed-in grown-ups in your family. Other families cannot see your children. Our hosting provider stores the data for us.
Your choices
- Download your family's data from Family settings at any time.
- Archive a child profile to hide it while keeping progress.
- Permanent deletion and account-deletion requests are not yet available in the app. Archiving keeps the data; it does not erase it. The Help page explains the current recovery options.
Marketing
We do not send marketing. Agreeing to this notice is not consent to marketing.
